Hunters Edge Stables is home to Mid-South's Premier IEA team. The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) provides an affordable way for your child to experience showing without the expense of ownership or horse leasing. Joining the team is the next step in continuing your child’s riding career past the recreational level of weekly lessons.
IEA is a valuable addition to the equestrian resume and a great way to develop teamwork, camaraderie and lifelong relationships. IEA is an affiliate with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and provides an introduction and foundation to the format of riding at the collegiate level. An added benefit to competing with Mid-South IEA at HES includes top level instruction from the Ole Miss and Rhodes Equestrian coaches, who know what it takes to be competitive in the collegiate show ring. With team practices aimed at preparation for collegiate programs, you can be sure that your child will be competitive in the high school show ring, as well as in the college show ring. Since our founding in 2019, MSET has had over 50 members who have qualified  for Regional Finals as individuals and in the team divisions, and have riders that have qualified further to compete in Zone 4 Finals in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 seasons and National finals in 2021 and 2022.
